Emma Feyas

Associate Director

Education: B.A. in Christian Studies, Ouachita Baptist University; M.Div., Palm Beach Atlantic University

Emma Feyas is currently pursuing her PhD at the International Baptist Theological Study Centre with a focus on trauma and theology, particularly within the context of Evangelicalism and post-evangelicalism.  

Emma has worked in Christian Higher Education and Refugee Resettlement. Presently, she serves as the Associate Director of Community Transformation and Chaplaincy, where she oversees student support, field experience placements, and co-curricular events. Emma was also a key member of the Community Transformation Center grant writing team. 

Emma's research and practical initiatives revolve around trauma-informed practices, evident in her work with the Community Transformation Center, where she empowers students to be trauma-informed chaplains, ministers, and community members.  

Outside of her professional and academic endeavors, Emma is happily married to Chadd Feyas, and she enjoys reading, baking, and the outdoors. Emma is dedicated to fostering positive change and looks forward to becoming a PhD candidate while deepening her involvement in the local community. Emma Feyas embodies a commitment to holistic transformation, blending academic rigor with compassionate community engagement.
